Half Term-Gold Foil Butterflies Kids Workshop 11am-1pm This workshop combines several artistic techniques and skills. In the style of Damien Hirst, children will create abstract butterfly paintings using bright, vibrant acrylic paints. Damien Hirst is a British artist who has used butterflies in his work since 1989. Butterflies are a central motif in his art, appearing in paintings, installations, and other works. Once the paintings are dry, your child will then learn how to embellish their art with gold foil. The results can be breath-taking, with a striking contrast between the delicate gold foil and the vibrant colourful paint. This Kids Art Workshop is at an introductory level. No previous experience needed. Artist age 5-15 Drop off and pick up. No need for parents/carers to stay unless they want to. Workshop takes place at Catz Cabin 25 Mere Lane, Sandiway, Northwich, Cheshire Please send your child with a water bottle and a snack.
