Thread art was developed in the early 1900 initially as a mathematic teaching tool. Traditionally nails were hammered into wood then string threaded through and around to create geometric shapes. In this adaptation we will use foam and colourful thread to create mesmerising patterns and pictures. Supported by Cat, children will design two pieces in different styles based on the theme of night sky. This Kids Art Workshop-String Art Night Sky is at an introductory level. No previous experience needed. Artist age 5-15 Drop off and pick up. No need for parents/carers to stay unless they want to. Workshop takes place at Catz Cabin 25 Mere Lane, Sandiway, Northwich, Cheshire
