Pop Art-Saturday Workshop 10am-12pm In the 1960s Andy Warhol became known as one of the leading artists of the pop art movement. Pop artists felt that art should reflect modern life and so they made art inspired by the world around them – from movies, advertising and pop music to comic books and even product packaging. Taking inspiration from Andy Warhol's Marilyn diptych we will create our own piece of pop art, using printed pictures and colourful oil pastels. This Kids Art Workshop is at an introductory level. No previous experience needed. Artist age 5-15 Drop off and pick up. No need for parents/carers to stay unless they want to. Workshop takes place at Catz Cabin 25 Mere Lane, Sandiway, Northwich, Cheshire Please send your child with a water bottle and a snack.
